Biomarker discovery in non-small cell lung cancer enabled by deep multi‑omics profiling of proteins, metabolites, transcripts, and cell-free dna in blood

This poster presented at the 2023 AACR Annual Meeting describes deep multi-omic profiling of peripheral blood spanning the genotype to phenotype spectrum per univariate analysis of a 1031 subject data set of NSCLC cases and controls ± comorbidities. Clustering analysis demonstrated heterogeneity with differential biology and biological processes captured in different -omics types, and a small number of biomarkers were shared across multiple omic classes. These data demonstrated a broad ability to distinguish between individuals with and without NSCLC and may serve as the basis of a multi-omic peripheral blood test for the early detection of lung cancer.
