There is a high unmet need for a high-performance blood-based test for early detection of lung cancer, particularly for early-stage disease. This study describes the largest multi-omics study conducted to date that enabled the discovery of a statistical classifier with strong sensitivity and specificity performance for the detection of lung cancer, including for stage I disease.
