A multi-omics classifier achieves high sensitivity and specificity for Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma in a case-control study of 146 subjects

This poster presented at the 2023 AACR Annual Meeting describes a high performance classifier for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) based on deep multi-omic profiling of peripheral blood of a case-control study of 146 subjects. The top 5 features from 4 separate omic classes were combined, and the resulting classifier demonstrated high sensitivity and specificity for PDAC in a validation cohort with similar early and all stage performance. Feature reduction renders this panel amenable to rapid development and clinical study, and the results support the feasibility of this approach as a clinically useful test for PDAC with the potential for early detection.
